… aber New York besitzt ein Poets House:
When Stanley Kunitz and Elizabeth Kray founded Poets House as a library for poetry, Mr. Kunitz insisted that there be no apostrophe in the name of the organization because „nobody owns poetry.“ As he said recently: „It belongs to civilization. Nobody possesses poetry; poetry possesses you.“ … „Schools visit in the morning, editors come to research anthologies, international poets plug in to what’s going on in New York,“ said Lee Briccetti, the executive director of Poets House, adding that the library was especially of value to browsers. / NYT *) 10.6.02
