18. Erfundener irischer Dichter?

Ein interessanter Fall. Kein anderer als Woody Allen erklärt*) sich als Fan eines genialen irischen Dichters: Sean O´Shawn. Hier über ihn. Aber anderswo erscheint er als Erfindung von S.M. Hall, III. Wer erfand wen? Kennt jemand einen dieser drei?

What Rough Beast,
By S. M. Hall, III.

By S. M. Hall, III. This is an unusual collection of well crafted poetry. It is excellent work. The author creates an entire poet, (The great Irish poet/genius Sean O’Shawn) and traces his development as a great poet from the early years, when he thought every poem had to start with Roses are Red, Violets are Blue, into a great lyric poet who dies in 1970. It is clear that Hall is having a great deal of fun here. You will too as you enjoy the creation with him. Paperback $13.95. CD Hall reading his poems, $13.95. Or, buy the combo for only $19.95. / zum Verlag

The New Republic*) 10.3.04:
The Irish Genius
by Woody Allen
„On her death bed, O’Shawn’s mother, Bridget, begged her son to abandon poetry and become a vacuum cleaner salesman.“
